QA of Infrastructure and Application

We provide QA/Testing service for infrastructure and applications.

IT assets and services need verification, validation and testing during different phase of life cycle.

We can help in establishing traceability among benefit, requirements, design and implementation, Control Structure to migitage risks.

We have skill and experience in assessing following area.

Phase Item
Delivery Phase Testing Investment logic validation
Scope/Requirement and acceptance crietria traceability assessment
CI gap assessment/Validation between Model and Realization (shown in Figure -1)
Asset behaviour assessment (HA, and Performance and securit behaviour testing)
Integration Assessment
Test Environment Requirement Planning (TERP) and Environment assessment and Scheduling
CI assessment against standard (including best practice guides, Vendor Guide, Security standards etc.)
Deployment capability assessment (Automation/Orchestration)
Operational readiness assessment
Operational Acceptance assessment
Data alignment, Data cut, Data Masking
Certification of Deployment that they meet key NFRs through response time anlysis, stability analysis, footprint analysis, scaleability and sociability analysis, failover/bafilback analysis.
ES testing Sociability
Build Block testing (SOE, MOE, SDP)
Run/Support Testing Patch/upgrade Testing
Migration and Transition Testing for meet change process

Technology Testing

Each asset building block (Configuration Info - CI) is checked against the acceptance criteria derived from service performance and conformance requirements.

Some acceptance criteria are sought from SAD, HLD, SOE, DLD while some are collected from IT standards including ISO/IEC, PCI-DSS, NIST, Best practe Guide, etc.

Status of assets under various test conditions and behaviour under changing conditions are also included in the list of acceptance criteria.

Services Validation and Testing

Each service is made of a set of capabilities meet a set of technical, cost and admin attributes.

Services are validated against positive and negative scenarios. This include both SDLC and run/support services.

Quality and Capabilities

Agreed Quality decomposition trees are used to identify test conditions for each building blocks and their integration.

Examples of Quality and Capabilities

Each area of quality have diversed interpretation. We provide agreed taxonomy to bring common interpretation before test conditions are identified.

We have a large collection of baseline test patterns that can reduce master test plan development and improve standard.

Testability

Figure -8 Simple decomposition of Testability

We have defect patterns and associated risk patterns that can be used to reduce defect management overhead.
This approach have been used with several large transformation projects to fine tune.

We have a set tools and test harness to assist customers with testing and environment validation.

We have hude testcase library that can be used to shape test strategy and test cases quickly, effectively and efficiently.
